It was a raw and rainy Saturday afternoon, and as I puttered around my man cave, I heard my phone go off. I walked over to check it and see who was messaging me, and noticed that I had a text message from my sister in law, who lived next door. My first thought was, I wonder what she needs now, because she only reached out to me whenever she needed something. She was my wife's older sister, and me and her, had a love-hate relationship with each other. It all started about 15 years ago, when my wife and I had first started dating. Her sister wasn't crazy about me at first, which I completely understood. Slowly, I grew on her and we became friendly. At that time, she was getting ready to get married to her high school sweetheart, and I ended up helping out with the wedding. After getting married, she bought a house in Pennsylvania with her new husband, and they moved out there to start a new life. They only lived out there for a little over a year, before they started having financial problems, which led to a lot of fighting. Things weren't going well for them, and at the same time, she got pregnant.

When she found out she was pregnant, her husband dropped a bombshell on her. He had been cheating on her with someone else, and told her he was leaving her. He left her stranded out in the middle of nowhere, while she was pregnant. Her mom and dad did the best they could to help her out, along with my wife and I. She eventually had to move back to town so her parents could help her raise her daughter. She was all alone and had nobody else to help her, and since I owned my own landscape ...
