‘Oh well. That's that,' I moaned resignedly to myself, following the announcement that office staff were being urged to work from home from Monday the 13th. And there I was, looking forward to a 2021 Christmas office party, having missed out on one the previous year.

Since I wouldn't see Malcolm until who knows when, I visited him during my Friday lunch break and gave him his present - me and my ass.

Despite what I got to enjoy from him, I was annoyed at there not being a Christmas office party. Rather than going out as I usually do on Friday and Saturday, I stayed home and, unlike me, moped.

"If only," I said, head full of images of an office party involving my colleagues from work and a few well-chosen friends.

I must have dozed off for a bit. When I awoke, I could not believe who I saw standing the other side of my dining room table.

It was a fairy. A female one, complete with wings, a tiara, a flowing white dress and a wand in the shape of a long silver hue dildo with a missile-shape tip. I had to rub my eyes and pinch myself a couple of times to be sure I wasn't imagining it.
