The morning sunlight streamed through the thin curtains of their east-facing room, warming Angie out of her deep sleep.

It was their first full day at the resort, and Angie woke up in a swirl of competing emotions. She missed home, but she also felt needed and alive in a whole different way. In a way she'd long forgotten, and even longer needed.

Jack was sitting out on the balcony, at a small table, sipping his coffee and reading. He looked nice, through the curtains. She was glad she was here, even though her stomach turned when she remembered she had a whole life - a life she loved - waiting elsewhere.

Angie laid under the luxurious sheets for a moment, running her hands over them and enjoying the way it felt on her olive skin. Sitting up, she used the sheet to cover herself, contemplating the day before them.

Turning, she lowered her feet to the floor. The marble was cold, almost slippery, beneath her red-painted toes. She decided to get cleaned up, before joining Jack on the balcony.

Naked, she walked across the bedroom, towards the amazing bathroom. The shower was large, probably enough for several people, she thought, and glass along two sides. Opposite the door, the glass left the shower ...
