I got home well after midnight. I needed some sleep. I had to be back at the Mall by 9:30. At 10 AM kids were expecting Santa.

In the morning, I just had time for a shower, coffee and a bagel. My bank was in the Mall, I deposited all that money, but left the notes from the other women on my dresser.

Janine had been a great fuck; I thought for sure I'd call her again. It didn't work out that way.
