Part 1: Back to work.

Upon my arrival at the office where I work as an executive, I was greeted by Julie the company's receptionist.

She had a warm knowing smile on her face. One that yearned to hear me tell all about what I got up to during my two-week holiday break, and believe me, I had quite a lot to recount.

It would, of course, have to wait until later, work first as always, and so I arranged to have lunch with Julie at 1pm.

On the way to my office, I said hello and smiled at my fellow work colleagues, only to notice a new young-looking guy using the photocopier.

‘Hello you,' I thought to myself just as a slow smile began to spread across my face.

Returning to reception, I asked Julie about him.

"That would be Glen Price. Mr Harding hired him while you were away. He's working a three-month internship from what I know," Julie explained.
