Despite his name, and needing to wear glasses for reading, Kevin, a 23-year-old office assistant, was far from the nerd associated with it. He didn't do the type of things indicative of a nerd, while not having a girlfriend and not for the want of trying; his name being unjustly stigmatised.

He worked for an excellent boss in Mrs Travis. Samantha, as she was known to her staff, always had a warm friendly nature to her. She had corn blonde hair, which she groomed in various styles. One day it would be straight, another slightly curled or full-on curly while she occasionally had it tied up high in a bun. To go with that, she had a most captivating pair of warm twinkly blue eyes and an amazing collection of outfits.
