SPAIN REDUX

This was originally written up, and takes place in, 2002, one of my earlier stories, so I thought I'd rework it, as hopefully my writing has improved since then !

My comments are from the time, not from now.

I went on holiday with my ex boyfriend Rob, recently. We were together from 1993 to 1997, so we split up 5 years ago and we've not really been intimate since, though we remain good friends and as I said, go on holiday sometimes.

I thought he was gorgeous when he was younger with his long hair - a lot of women STILL think he's gorgeous.

Myself, I've been out with a couple of guys since him, and just recently I've been seeing a girl (Nicole). Rob knew nothing about the at all about the two guys - let alone the girl!

We'd been away for a few days and the weather had been crap, so we drove around a lot looking for some decent weather. When we were in Alicante - Playa De San Juan, I think, Rob and I went for dinner and a drink at a cafe. The waitress was really friendly and kept smiling at Rob. She would naturally have thought we were a couple - no reason at all ...
