As we approach the anniversary of the Covid shutdown, I couldn't help but think about a situation that started during that time and still continues on and off today.

Like everyone else, I was stuck working from home, while also homeschooling my son since everything was shut down. My husband was the lucky one, because he ran his own landscaping business, and being that he worked outdoors, he didn't have to shut down.

During that period, his friend Mike ended up spending a lot of time with us because he was also stuck at home but didn't want to be there because he had to share the house with his wife, three kids, and mother-in-law.
