It had been a very long week. Tonya thought it would never end. It was her birthday and her husband, Jody, had promised to take her away for an extended weekend to celebrate.

He had rented a house at the beach for several days and had assured her that this would be a birthday to remember. Tonya packed Thursday evening and was so excited, she could barely sleep.

When Friday morning rolled around, the anticipation was enormous. The ride to the beach seemed to take forever. Tonya asked questions about the weekend plans, but Jody wouldn't give up any details.
