I'm going to save you from reading some of the miniscule details, but I also feel it's important to lay down a bit of foundation and how this story came about.

I'm (32M) single and tend to travel a lot for my job. Oftentimes, projects I work on can last up to six months. Some are as few as a couple weeks, but this was going to be one of those months-long types.
