After lengthy discussion with my editor Dennis who does not advocate ANY mistreatment of women, even fictional, it came to my attention that the implied situation with Scott and Kathy, as well as Andrea's part in it all was not clear, murky at best, and possibly confusing. Sorry if this is a spoiler, but the gist is, Andrea's mom Kathy seduced, slept with, and essentially stole the last 3 boyfriends she started to get serious with. It is not said or implied that her mom slept with every single guy she talked to or slept with, just the last 3 she started a relationship with. That's why the lust and excitement weighed against becoming serious in part 1 and carried through part 2.

The idea Scott came up with, a combination of lust and too much porn, was to sleep with Kathy before she could seduce him. It's corny, slick, ridiculous, and so far has worked. Where my editor Dennis, and maybe some readers, are not clear is that Scott essentially ‘took' what he wanted from Kathy, showed her no affection or even consideration afterwards, and walked away each time as if she were a worthless slut and owed him the sex.

If I got that point across, great, if not, well, now you know.

Moving forward, with both the story and this long explanation slash disclaimer, Kathy is anxious, tentative and doesn't know what (or when) Scott will do next. Also, what may have started as pre-revenge sex, so to speak, as you will soon see, causes Scott some distress because his ...
