When I entered college at eighteen, I was the most naïve freshman, EVER.

By that I mean I knew nothing about sex. I'd never been on a date; never kissed a boy. I probably didn't say ten words to a boy all through high school. Why you might ask?

My parents were very religious. I wasn't allowed to date until my senior year in high school. Then it was too late. By that I mean that I'd fall in love with my books. Many nights the librarian had to throw me out so she could lock up.

The other reason was I still a little girl. I was eighteen but my body looked like I was twelve. My periods had started, I had hair under my arms and down there, but I wore a bra only because I'd be embarrassed not to wear one.

My name is Hannah Hendricks and I'm a freshman at one of the most prestigious non-Ivy League colleges in New England. The summer between my senior year in high school and the beginning of my freshman year in college, I began to blossom. Physically, if not mentally.

More hair; hips and breasts; honest to goodness breasts.

Here's the other thing, I have a baby face. As I write this, I'm in my fifties. Not to brag, some people think I'm thirty, and I wear very little make-up.

I wanted to fit in at college so when the girls of Tau Upsilon Phi invited me to pledge their sorority I jumped at the chance. I didn't know what I was in for.

Laura Swenson, a senior, was assigned as my Big Sister. It was her responsibility to guide me through all the hazing that was required to become a member of Tau Upsilon Phi (usually just called TUPH).

I had to dress a certain way, wear my hair a certain way, run errands for Laura. By the way, the other pledges did the same for their Big Sisters.

The pledge period lasted a month; then it was Hell Week: the final hurdle to becoming a TUPH.

I was shocked when Laura took me to her room and told me to undress. Like I said, I'd never been on a date, but I was certain that I wasn't Gay. Some nights I cried myself to sleep wishing some boy, any boy would notice me.

Laura wasn't Gay either. It was part of the ritual, which in itself was shocking. Laura had me spread my legs and then with scissors and razors, over the next hour removed all my pubic hair; the pubic hair which I'd only had in the last few years and which I was so proud of when I took a shower after the required gym class. All my beautiful light brown, almost blonde pubic hair, except on my pubic bone was gone. Then she teased it, so it stood out.

I had just a tuft of hair left. It was like a badge of the Tau Upsilon Phi girls.

"Hannah, as long as you're a TUPH girl and an undergraduate, you have to keep it like that. I'm here to help, but most of us learn to do it ourselves. Me, I get a wax. See." She lifted her skirt, and dropped her panties almost to her knees. Like me, Laura just had a tuft of hair on her pubic bone.

"When you're fucking a guy, he'll know you're a Tau Upsilon Phi girl and he'll expect you to be an extraordinary fuck. We all are," she smiled. "By the way, I'm not gay, but I'd say you have a lovely pink pussy. Some of the gay sisters would love some of that."

My legs were still spread, but my mouth was as open as my legs. I couldn't believe what I just heard. How do I tell her? Should I tell her?

I didn't, but on the day we pledges became full-fledged sisters of Tau
