Whatever you think of the type, Tom and Amanda weren't it. Tom looked like every other dad on the block. Amanda was, by all measures, beautiful, but she hardly stood out in the school pickup line. The same tight little ass in black leggings as every other mom.

They had a few rules. No repeats, to ensure nobody ever develops inconvenient feelings. Also, they always play together. Tom hated the idea of his wife going off on her own, and knew that kind of open marriage would only be open for one. Women were hardly beating down his door.
It was easy to find men to play with them, but Amanda really put herself out there once, to find a girl. Tom felt like he had it all.
He was so comfortable, he didn't immediately balk when the idea was first formed. Was it his idea, or hers? Neither of them were sure, but after some thought, Tom found he was really into the concept.
He started to wonder, what would she look like - how would she behave - if he weren't in the room?
She assured him it would be the same, but he was certain she was wrong. Wouldn't she be freer? Wouldn't she feel less pressure?
It didn't take them long to agree, with some special ground rules. First, Amanda said she wasn't sure she would feel comfortable with a stranger though - what if he didn't stop when she wanted to - so they agreed to break a rule. Their first repeat.
