The weekend had passed quietly with Steve spending a lot of time with his daughter Tabitha. Slowly things seemed be settling after Suzi's departure. There had been Zoom calls daily for Tabitha and Steve with Suzi. Petra had also joined in one or two to confirm to Suzi that everything was going OK. Petra guessed that Steve and Suzi had probably had a couple of private zooms too. Perhaps that first day activity with Gilly had just been a one off and Petra had read a little too much into it.

On Sunday morning Petra asked Steve what she should prepare for lunch. He announced nothing as they would be going to the Crown pub for a late lunch. He had booked a table for the three of them. He suggested that as Sunday was normally Petra's day off, then maybe she might like to "glam" up a bit as she was always in baggy sweaters and jeans around the house. Petra was not sure how to react, was this Steve trying another push like he had in the kitchen or a comment that generally she should smarten herself up. But it was Sunday and maybe she should look her best?
