This is a story about a conference that I had to attend for work and ended up being more about play.

I had just popped out of the morning session at the conference in Calgary to go back to my hotel room in the hotel attached to the conference centre. I had been speaking to another delegate who was interested in doing a deal with the firm I work for.

So I was on my way back to my room to prepare a few notes and get away from the second morning lecture which was no doubt going to be fairly dull. My mobile rang as I approached the door to my room. It was my secretary letting me know about this and that, just boring admin. stuff going on at the office back home.

I opened my door and continued to talk as I walked into my room. The TV was on and some music was emanating from it.

"Tell Geoff that I will speak to him later when I have had this meeting," I told my secretary.

Something was not quite right as I walked towards the bed in my room. The TV was on CNN which is not a channel I watched this morning. It was at this point that I heard a noise in the bathroom and noticed the housekeeping trolley.
