I woke up in Michelle's apartment. I'd crashed there the night before and he seemed to be gone. "Oh great," I thought. "Now I'm stuck in Mahomet for the rest of the day." I was still tired and those God-damned Daisy Dukes were really getting on my nerves now. But I was still happy because of Jason. We had such a good time the night before, even though my legs hurt from being cramped in his car. But I had his phone number and he had mine. "God I hope he calls me!" I said outloud to no one. Then a knock on the door startled me. I thought, "Should I answer it? Nawww, this isn't my apartment. I'll just see who it is through the peep hole..."

It was Jason! I swung open the door and hugged him.

"Hi! I didn't expect to see you today! I thought you had to work?"

"I do. For awhile anyway. I was able to get a replacement but not until noon. I came over here to see if you'd like to hang out with me today. I have your phone number but I wanted to catch you before you left."
