She was possessed. She had now reached her conclusion. She reined in her horse to a halt and involuntarily dismounted. What was she doing here? Who was willing her to come? Where was she? How didn't she remember how she'd come? Questions flooded her mind and terror flashed through her veins but she had no control over herself as she walked up the stone steps and lifted- with some effort- the mighty door knocker and heard it clang noisily down.

"I am going to die tonight" Miena mumbled. A tear rolled down her cheek and in a way she wished she didn't have control of her mind so she wouldn't have to know the fear she was getting well aquainted with now. Another single tear rolled down her cheek.

Hours passed- or so it seemed and there was never an answer at the door. Someone was playing with her. Anger lanced though her but still she stood. Tears of fury and fear flooded her eyes and overflowed down her cheeks.

"Dear God just get this over with and do what you've brought me here to do. Kill me!" she screamed as her body stood motionless. She was hyperventillating now and could not breathe. 'I'm going to kill myself' she thought. Her thoughts were broken with a sinister laugh that resonated from within. It was close. Possibly just behind the door.
