Raquel had always considered herself talented. She could pat her head and rub her belly at the same time. She could simultaneously hum and whistle. Sometimes, if she really concentrated, she could wiggle her ears. But even she impressed herself when she found out she could move objects with her mind.

It was the day after the storm, her second day of working in the house with Kent. He had been in the attic most of the morning, ripping out some of the old, corroded paneling that needed replacing. She had been pulling weeds and raking up old brush in the yard. Around lunchtime, she went into the house to see if Kent felt like getting a pizza.

She called his name a couple of times and no one answered. She went upstairs and was halfway down the hall when she heard the shower running in the bathroom at the end of the corridor.

She was about to turn around and go back downstairs, but she paused for a minute, looking longingly at the closed bathroom door. She wondered how he'd react if she just went in, if she just climbed into the shower with him and started soaping him up. Her nipples got hard as she considered it.
