They say that all good things come to those who wait, Well Lynn will testify that she kept me waiting just long enough to have me intrigued. When i first approached Lynn about doing an interview, i couldn't believe my luck when she agreed, So sit back and discover just what makes this beautiful author tick......Shuggie.

Shuggie: First tell us something about yourself, like name, age, and some other things we would like to know about you...Let’s call it a short bio.

Lynn:  Well, I guess it is obvious my name is Lynn...  I just celebrated the anniversary of my 29th (and 30th...) birthday, but as my dad used to say, "it's not what age you are on the calendar, but how young you are at heart..."  Growing up I was a tomboy, and followed my dad around to his baseball and football games.

I learned to throw, bat and catch, block and tackle from him - the best coach I could ever ask for.  I got to play Pop Warner with Dad, as my coach back when it was against the rules for a girl to play.  The funny thing of it was, it seemed that it was the boys that were worried about getting hurt!  I loved playing linebacker, popping the running back or quarterback just like Dad had taught me...  Later I took up track and field, and still enjoy going for my morning jog. I still feel like a honeymooner with my hubby after 12 years of marriage, and we have two wonderful children that keep me very busy.  You could say I am the epitome of a soccer mom, as I coach my daughter's youth soccer team.

I still work out 2-4 times a week, as I am trying to prevent any of the middle-age sag (and spread), and find it helps my stamina in the bedroom.  Several of my stories are true.  For example, you can read about how I did give my virginity to my hubby before I got married...  And reading some of the other interviews (and judging by questions I constantly get, even AFTER I posted my pic!), I am 5'7, and I am a 36C.  My hubby was thrilled when pregnancy and nursing increased their size.  For me, it means more to try to strap into my jog bra when I go running. Trying to avoid the painful jolting and bouncing you guys seem to enjoy watching us go through...

Shuggie: What are you wearing right now?

Lynn:  As much as I would like to tell you I am sitting here naked (or in some sexy lingerie),  the reality is that right at this moment I am dressed for work at a local retail store...  Nothing very exciting to witness, I assure you.  Most times around home I have my jeans [or shorts in the summer!] and a tee or sweatshirt on, comfort and practicality in light of motherhood.

I think about what I might be wearing in the future, once the kids are off to college, but then, would anyone want to see an old lady like that?  But more importantly to me, that dreaded day when the house goes quiet with the lack of kids in the house is a day I do NOT want it to come any time soon, as much as I know it will be here before I know it.  Sorry for going all depressing on you!  Where were we?

Shuggie: What do you like the most about writing erotic stories?

Lynn:  It is one of those creative outlets for me.  How do I take something that is happened to me (or a fantasy I have had]) and put it down on paper (or, better yet, in electrons!) to get the images of what happened, the feelings inside me, etc., making it something tangible that I can relate the events to someone else, so they can take the same ride I did. The biggest rush I get is from the feedback I get, specifically telling me what they liked about the story, or how it was similar to something the reader had done in the past.  More importantly, knowing that I was able to connect with someone else, to transfer some of the sexual feelings I get writing the story and turn someone else on.

Of note:  I especially appreciate the feedback from other female authors, as the ones who have responded in the past seem to have this special connection to what I am trying to get across.  I appreciate knowing from them that I am getting the female point across.  There are several men who have also pointed this out, but often (not always, and you know who you are!) the male comments are fairly predictable.

Shuggie: Does your spouse or significant other know you write, and if so, what does he/she think?

Lynn:  No, he does not.  i have kept him blissfully in the dark about this.  He thinks I have just the rudimentary skills on the computer, but I tend to use it, usually to keep myself amused during his many business trips.  Not that I don't think he would like them.  I think he would be very turned on.  It is just that I feel this is something for me, sharing with the readers on this site.

Shuggie: Is it difficult for you to keep your writing life separate from your professional life?

Lynn:  I write when I am inspired, and when I have time for that kind of outlet.  As you can tell by the frequency I have submitted stories, I have had a lot going on in my life for the past two years...  And life does have a way of getting in the way of my writing.  Usually I found I could write when hubby was on business trips.  It is so hard to sleep without my teddy bear to cuddle into!!!

Shuggie: How did you come up with your ES nickname?

Lynn:  Well the truth is originally not being very computer savvy, I just used my email as my author name for ES.  So the Lynnm37 is my email designation for one of the popular email groups.

Shuggie: What brought you to EroticStories.com? What made you want to stay and become a part of it?

Lynn: I used to have lots of late night online chats with friends of mine or visit chat rooms while my husband traveled on business.  One of them told me that if I put what I had told her about a prior "adventure" of mine into a story, I could post it here.  I hesitantly logged in and checked the site out.  I felt I could at least hold my own with some of the other authors on the site (in other words, I wouldn't embarrass myself!), so I posted my first story. What happened immediately afterwards was truly unexpected.

The readers on this site started leaving me messages both here and at my email, letting me know how much they liked my stories, and how much they were turned on by what I related.  Wow.  To say I got horny just reading the messages would be quite an understatement.  It became like an addiction for me for a while.

One thing I have noticed,  if I put time and effort into writing and editing and re-reading my stories, as well as using grammar and spelling check (what wonderful features!), my ratings got better.  If, however, I just wrote up something on the fly that turned me on, it didn't seem to get as high of marks.  So between the rating system and the feedback I get, I keep coming back for more.

I will say there was a very frustrating day when I got a message about my first FF story, and the reader gave me the lowest score possible, and left me a message that he hated that kind of a story.  I thought about quitting writing that day.  Fortunately, others didn't think so, and over time that story climbed to a very good rating.  Obviously, I haven't stopped.

Shuggie: What is your favorite part of your body? Why?

Lynn:  My abs.  After two kids, I have worked very hard to keep in shape.

Shuggie: If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be and why?

Lynn: Obviously from a recent story I was playing around with what it would be like to be male instead of female.  But the one thing I would change would be that I had more stamina to live up to my libido!

Shuggie: Boxers v Briefs? / Panties v Thong?

Lynn:  I get my hubby boxers.  Sometimes I will surprise him at night and wear a pair of his boxers with my sleep jersey. As far as myself, I prefer panties.  I tried a thong a couple of times.  I know they say it helps show off your buns better, but I hate the feeling of a wedgie.  There are the new varieties that are more like shorts that I am starting to favor. But more importantly, it’s not what you wear, its what’s (and who's) inside them that counts!

Shuggie: What’s the question you’ve always wanted to be asked, but have never been asked?

Lynn:  If you had a night that you could be guaranteed to go your way, and to be free of consequences or guilt, what would you do, and with whom?  And since I haven't been asked the question yet, I will have to think about my answer and start... fantasizing!

Shuggie: then I guess that will have to be your next question then

Lynn: I guess I will need more than one night for this one... I'd like to try a series of nights with certain well-known person couples... See if they live up to the hype... And then certain sports heroes or heroines to see how the sporting side holds up comparatively. (Maybe even take on a football, hockey or soccer team, and then separately their cheerleading squads.) Finally, there are a few folks at my gym I would just love to take a romp with, as they have been keeping me full of locker room fantasies for the last year.

Shuggie: What do you like the most about writing erotic stories?

Lynn:  It feels like I am sharing myself with strangers – kind of like I am opening up my thoughts, my experiences for others to look at.  Drawing an analogy - it is like going to a bar naked.  Most of the patrons there would have been wondering about what you look like naked, but you are just cutting to the chase, announcing to everyone to "look here!"  It is a turn-on, and a very difficult leap of faith in others. The only difference is, in person you get to see the reaction of others instantaneously.  In the written word, the only reaction I get is through the feedback of you, the reader.  And I always wonder what kind of filter that is coming through... Especially since only a small percentage of readers actually have the courage to send a response to the author.  (And for all of you that have made my authoring on site here very reassuring and rewarding, THANKS!)

Shuggie: How long have you been writing now? How did it all get started and what made you write your first story?

Lynn:  See question above about what brought me to EroticStories.com.  It has been almost 8 years now that I have been writing as this erotic outlet of mine.

Shuggie: What categories are most of your stories in? Is there a particular reason for this catagory? What kind would you never write?

Lynn:  Mostly one-on-one, exhibitionism, or sci/fi.  These categories are the ones I am most comfortable with.  Category I don't ever see myself writing in is about male or female domination or bdsm.

Shuggie: Which story is your personal favorite, the one you enjoyed writing the most, and/or the one holds the best memories or feelings for you?

Lynn:  There are two stories that stand out for me - ‘The Dare’., and ‘The Wish’. ‘The Dare’. was about a true story that happened to me and turned me on so.  I tried to show my feelings in this story, and was surprised (at the time) how much positive feedback I got.

‘The Wish’. is my first true entry into Science Fiction, writing about something that was TOTALLY fiction.  I came up with the concept and worked it, visited New Orleans to get the feel of the city, and tried to paint a very vivid picture of what I was imagining.

It took three months of revisions and rewrites to get it just right.  I felt I needed to get what I had out there, and published it as part 1.   I am very proud of that story, and the response I have received. That was good and bad.  Good in the great responses and encouragement I have been getting.  Bad in that I now felt I had a standard that had been set that I wanted to continue.  I have struggled for a year to get it completed (along with life happening).  I just hope it is not a disappointment to those who were left hanging.

Shuggie: Have you ever gotten so turned on while writing that you had to stop to masturbate? What story was it?

Lynn:  If I am writing a story that does not make me feel that way, then I am not writing it correctly or doing my job as an erotic story writer.  So, yes.  And ALL of them!  Thus it is obvious that I write when I am alone, without kids afoot or hubby around!

Shuggie: Do you write from fantasy or true stories or a combination of both? Please explain or give an example.

Lynn:  Aside from ‘The Wish’., all of my stories have some part of reality.  Most of them are at least 90-95% reality...  Yes, it is tradition in our house to have a Christmas Eve romp under the tree.  And yes, my hubby does do Santa work on the holidays.  And yes, he has worn the suit at least once during that tradition...  And yes, I have a September baby...

Shuggie: Are the characters in your story based on real people, did you make them up, or are they a combination of both?

Lynn:  All my stories are based on real people.  In fact, some of you readers will recognize locations I write about if you have visited my local university or its surroundings.

Shuggie: What parts of "Yourself" do you put into your characters?

Lynn:  A lot.  Otherwise, how can I communicate what is going on in the character's head?  Unfortunately, sometimes it gets the character into situations that may be awkward, or backed into a corner as far as what I can logically and realistically let the character do without suspending the story's reality.

Shuggie: If there was one trait you could take from one of your characters in your stories, and put it in place in your real life, what would it be and why?

Lynn:  Confidence among strangers.  Counter to what some readers may think, in a new situation with strangers I climb into my shell.  I wish the heck I was better and more confident in those situations.  Probably why my characters have more confidence...

Shuggie: How long does it take for you to write a complete story? How does the process go?

Lynn:  It varies on the level of inspiration and how turned on I am, as well as how anal I want to be about editorializing.  I have finished a story in an hour, and the one I am on is going on 2 years...  I have found a trend that if I put effort and time into writing and re-writing the readers tend to reward me with better votes.  Each of the stories I have that average below a 9.0 were written in a moment of inspiration, and I probably didn't refine them enough to get the full effect.  But then it would have taken longer to get them posted.

Shuggie: How do you come up with your story titles?

Lynn:  I look for something simple that describes a main concept in the story.  Like "The Dare" or "The Wish"...  However, my first story ‘The Viking Monument’. was about something that happened at the Viking monument on campus - and trust me, it is out of the way and probably not easily found, unless you explore, or are part of a Lakeshore Dorms trivia team!

Shuggie: What is the hardest part of writing a story?

Lynn:  Re-reading to see if the story flows, to see if I am getting my point across, if I am turning myself on re-reading.  Especially after several weeks or when I have stopped writing in the middle of a story several times.  I know that each time I do,  I am approaching the story from a different mindset, a different set of experiences that add up to a potentially different attitude.  Relating a cohesive story and theme is one of the hardest things to do, in that type of situation, and then editing to fine-tune.  I wish I could just crank stories out like some of the authors on this site!

Shuggie: Have you ever done research for a part of a story you didn’t have any knowledge about or maybe for a sex scene?

Lynn:  I recently went to a strip bar and paid for a lap dance so I could see what that was like, and put it in an upcoming story.  Most of the rest of them have main points that have already happened to me, which does make it easier to write about!

And I have downloaded the map of a nearby park that will be featured in an upcoming story about how my oldest was conceived...  I just wanted to make sure I had the trail names right, etc.  I've been there many times, and for the folks in south-central Wisconsin, you pretty much know where this is - it’s great for hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter...

Shuggie: If a movie was ever made of one of your stories, which story would you want it to be, and who would play the lead characters?

Lynn:  ‘The Wish’. would be an interesting movie, specifically because of the visual and emotional "feel" saturating the story.  I would love to see how they get that all on the big screen. As far as actors, I don't see any specific ones...  Maybe a Rachel McAdams, Jennifer Love Hewitt or a Kate Beckinsale, or maybe a pre Affleck Jennifer Garner with all the different color wigs she wore...  Guys... mmm.  I will have to think about that...!  Someone with a Boy Scout attitude/appearance...   Matt Damon?  Bruce Boxleitner?  The lead actor in Ghost whisperer...?  You get my drift...

Shuggie: (pure fantasy) If you had the chance to spend one night making mad passionate love to someone who would it be? Why them? And how do you think they would rate you as a lover?

Lynn:  There have been nights I have sat at home after the kids are in bed watching Pretty Woman, or Unfaithful, and wanted to be part of that, with the both of them...  Mostly because of the passion, and curiosity to see if it would be better than on screen... And recently I saw a movie that Naomi Watts was in, and thought about what it would be like to make out with her...  What is it like with her when those nipples get so large and sensitive?

Shuggie: Do you have any secret stories you don’t want to publish for the public? Do you publish your stories on other sites besides EroticStories.com and if so, why? Have you ever been published on paper?

Lynn:  I am in the process of writing some stories for my kids.  Stuff I want to pass on down the generations.  I am not sure I would want any of that to be public, but will decide that once I get finished.  The erotic stories I have done are all on ES.com.  I have not published elsewhere, because I don't feel I would get the same sort of feedback I get here.  I treasure your feedback, and feel a bond, like an unspoken commitment to keep active on this site. As far as publishing on paper, the ES author Naughty Miranda asked me to do a story about oral sex.  I published a version of it on the site called "The Offer."  To date, that is the only story that has been "printed" on paper (unless the readers have done that with one of my other stories to read away from the computer!)

Shuggie: When you receive negative comments do you just ignore them, build from them, or let it put a negative image over the story itself, and let it hinder your writing?

Lynn:  I appreciate all of the folks that make constructive comments that I can build on.  And I especially appreciate comments from women.  I know I have done my best if I have turned on another woman, because I was able to get my thoughts out there and she could relate to them... You have got to realize, these stories are similar to my kids.

I worked hard to bring them into this world to share them with you.  I care how they are received in this world.  And being the Mommy I am gonna take exception if you pick on one of my kids unwarranted, and be proud of them for any praise, and heartily accept any constructive suggestions on how I should go about producing my next offspring... I already discussed one very negative comment above.  Some comments like "It was ok, just couldn't get into it" don't help me much, so I have gotten to the point where I will ignore that type.  And there was the reader who emailed me a comment on my first ff story and gave me a 2 just because he wasn't into same sex intercourse.  (Screaming in my mind "Then why the H#@$ did you even bother reading it?")  Oh well... And the comments that have nothing to do with my stories... well, all I can say (blushing with a smile) is "Thanks, but not interested at this time..."

Shuggie: As if we would send e-mails like that….lol

Shuggie: Do you also enjoy reading erotic stories? Which categories do you enjoy the most? Do you like true stories or fantasies?

Lynn:  I enjoy reading stories on this site.  Typically I get into the romantic, one-on-one, or sci/fi categories.  Recently I have also found some stories I like in the threesome and adultery/slut wife categories.  And (shock of shocks) I look at the ff, group and mf categories.  And I also have found I am attracted to stories where the characters just get themselves into situations where they just have to do something they normally wouldn't do.  (One that comes to mind is a guy's wife was working an undercover job for more money to support them while he went to school.  He walks into a room at the hotel he works at to deliver some food and sees his wife naked, on the bed, doing "under cover work" with one of the guys in the room...) As far as true stories or fantasies, I seem to like both.  True stories give me an insight as to how daring and wild a person is.  Fantasies are great because it allows the author to escape into a realm of "what if I had done...?"

Shuggie: Do you vote on other author's stories? How do you decide what score to give when you do?

Lynn:  I do vote on other author's stories, as many can attest.  I approach the story from the point of view of did I enjoy it?  Did it turn me on?  What kind of visual images did it create?  Did spelling or grammatical errors get in the way of the flow of the story, the build-up?  So, like a teacher, did the author present a story that could have been better written?  Were the scenes disjointed, or did the whole story flow well?  Could the author benefit from my suggestions?  Most all of my votes also come with comments/feedback.  I figure it is my payment for reading the story.

Shuggie: Do you send other author’s comments or feedback on their stories?

Lynn:  I try to be encouraging to newer authors, especially (but not exclusively) women, that are just getting their feet wet, like readers were to me.  Offer positive suggestions or just a "well done" and what specifically I liked. Sometimes, if the story has had a huge effect on me, I will ask questions about if it is like an author's true experiences, or where the story goes next...

Shuggie: Do you have a favorite author on ES? What makes them your favorite?

Lynn:  I have several favorites.  What they have in common are that they are an easy read with little or no spelling or grammatical errors (you know the ones... waste instead of waist, groing instead of groin, Brain instead of Brian, etc).  And then they all have the skill to give me that mental picture of their surroundings and what is going on in the story.  That makes it much easier for me to put myself in the story and enjoy it...

Shuggie: When you read a story do you: A. Touch yourself and come around the same time one of the characters do? B. Touch yourself but wait for the end to come? C. Touch yourself but wait until after you finish the story to come, such as after going to bed? D. Not touch yourself until you are finished and then continue thinking about the story and come? E. Any other variation you may do? (Please tell us what it is)

Lynn:  Depends on the circumstances, although most lonely nights I am touching myself before I get to the first story...  And then it depends on the story itself...  I think the maximum a story has made me cum is 3 times.  But usually I just finish a story and continue on to the next one. And there are times, especially recently, where after a session of reading I go to bed or the shower and just close my eyes and let my thoughts take me to that erotic place where pleasure lies and let myself go...

Shuggie: Do you enjoy the visual side of erotica, as in porn movies or pictures? If so, do you have any favorites?

Lynn:  I occasionally go to the pictures and videos posted here.  It is amazing the beauty of the human body.  However, it seems like most of the time the models go through a routine, almost like it is scripted.  I see the same old same old.  The same faked pleasure on faces when nothing is happening.  There are, however, those rare sets that actually appear to catch real expression and/or photographer's skill, and I enjoy those sets of pics and videos.  As for Dave's stack of Penthouse Letters, the pix are an afterthought - the stories are what draws me and him...

Shuggie: Do you remember the first pornography you ever saw? Tell us about it?

Lynn:  Bambi does Dallas.  I was in college, and went along with some dorm mates.  I was a virgin at the time.  Wow, what an eye-opening experience that was, especially with the comedic comments from the peanut gallery!  Fortunately that made the experience more of a comedy, which I guess helped me absorb it better.  Not that I can remember a whole lot about it.

Shuggie: Have you ever participated in erotic photography? If so, please tell us about it. If not, would you rather be the photographed or the photographer?

Lynn:  I have posed a few times for my hubby.  He enjoys photographing, and once I get into it am very comfortable in front of HIS camera, for HIM.  With him it’s not so much about showing off, but getting the picture right, etc.  He makes me look sensuous.  And I look like I am enjoying myself. And before anyone has the audacity to ask, the answer is NO!  I don't share!

Shuggie: What do you wear to bed?

Lynn:  Winter and spring usually a jersey type nightshirt from my favorite collage football team.  If real cold, I will have on some flannel pj bottoms.  In the fall I have some satiny/sateen type nightgowns.  And occasionally I will wear one of hubby's sateen shirts to bed - nothing else.  On the rare occasion we are on a weekend away, well... let’s just say, I usually don't pack pj's!

Shuggie: Do your sex life and writing have any correlation with each other??

Lynn:  If I am writing, it seems like I need it more.  And if I am being kept satisfied, it seems I am getting inspired to write.  A very addicting cycle, one I hope continues for a long while!!!

Shuggie: How would you rate your willingness to try new things in bed?

Lynn:  On a scale from 1-10 I would probably say I am a 6 or a 7.  Food processing bodily functions are out.  I got enough of that when my kids were in diapers (including cleaning up a wall that had been painted with a poopy diaper!).  Heck, I will even try some new things OUT of bed too!

Shuggie: What’s the kinkiest thing you have done in your life?

Lynn:  There are several that come to mind, and I am in no mood to pick just one, so here we go...  Pick one you like and run with it.  Or email me for clarification if you REALLY like and can convince me (with specific reasons) to respond with more details... Made love naked on a hotel balcony... no, that sounds too tame.  Same goes for doing it in a tent in a VERY crowded campsite [see next question below for details on that!]

Pulled off at a deserted waystop(Layby) between Seattle and Vancouver to admire the scenery (trees and the Pacific ocean) and ended up with my jeans at my ankles and hands on a tree trunk...  no, also too tame.

Well... there was the time we were driving my brother-in-law back to college.  I was in the back seat and the men were up front talking.  I pulled out one of my husband's Penthouse letters magazine and started reading it discreetly.  I had a blanket over me and, well... let’s just say that after letting my fingers do some walking, I was ready for some action after we dropped my brother-in-law off at his dorm...!

Then there was the time I served up a banana split for him on the table, and I was the dish... (Yes, the ice cream was cold, but I had a layer of hot fudge, make that WARM fudge! beneath it, and some whipped cream on top (Yes, with some cherries too!).  Let’s just say it felt very different when he ate the banana...

I should stop.  I could keep rambling, but each one of these reminds me of a story I haven't written yet.  Get out my To-Do list...  See, you got me thinking about work again!

Shuggie: Do you have any fantasies that you would like to fulfill?

Lynn:  Glass elevator comes to mind, security cameras be damned..!  Could we both cum before getting to the top? Then there is always the getting cornered in the locker room at the gym by someone I have had my eye on, and being taken...

And one of the goals we have set is that before our 25th anniversary is that we would like to have made love with each other in all 50 states plus DC.  We are already over half-way there.  Thinking about the question above, we checked off Iowa at a crowded amusement park camping site in Des Moines.  The tent was not more than 4 feet from several tents and had to struggle like the dickens to keep quiet; to keep our slamming into each other quiet; and to keep from moaning or screaming as we hit our respective orgasms!  What silent screams of ecstasy! Back to the point I lost at that tangent:  Any suggestions for erotic places in a given states, i would be glad to gather information.   Hey, maybe I will compile a tourist book on best places to make love in the US?  Lol!  What do you think the demand for THAT tourist guide book would be???  (Using a tour guide voice over a microphone) "Staying at the (insert general hotel name here) Inn in the Pocono’s, be aware that the suites are actually monitored and recorded for posterity.  You can actually get to see prior guests making love on their honeymoons on the guest adult channels..."  What do you think?

Shuggie: Do you have any funny stories of has anything strange happened during sex that you would like to share with your readers.

Lynn: There was the time where we were making love at the end of a busy day, and my daughter, two at the time, opened the door and barged in all upset over a nightmare.  Fortunately we had the blankets on (it was winter, of course we had the covers on!) and we were missionary, and I was gasping for air, fairly close to release.  Dave quick rolls off and I look over at her, her eyes were big for a moment, then she gave me a hug and yelled at Dave that tickling is not nice!  I got my housecoat on and helped her back to bed, while Dave got her some warm milk.  Afterwards we laughed at what her mind had come up with as to what explanation was for what she was seeing.

Shuggie: What do you think about solo sex?

Lynn:  It is okay, but all it does is make you want the real thing...  You would think that ff sex then doesn't cut it, but it just isn't mutual masturbation - there's a whole lot more in the sensuality and interaction, the not quite knowing what is coming next. But then again, I am going it solo at least once every other day, usually more anyhow...

Shuggie: What are your favourite; and least favourite positions?

Lynn:  Top, dog, missionary, and "dragon."  (Last one takes a lot to get there correctly, but is quite the overload when done right.  Me on bathroom counter or table, leaning back on my hands.  Legs on his shoulders.  His hands supporting my posterior, so the only support I have is my hands.  The position helps me squeeze him during entry, and works that he hits my g-spot and tugs my clit at the same time.  Longest we have taken to both get off this way is 3 minutes!) Probably least favorite is when we are spooning on our sides... It is great for cuddling, just can't find this comfortable as it is a struggle to get it right to keep him in...  And we have tried one of those positions with me on my shoulders, back against couch or other support, him standing... not comfortable.  Against a wall is great for spontaneity, but rough on the back and shoulders, especially if the wall is rough...

Shuggie: Do you believe in one night stands?

Lynn:  No, I need an emotional investment in the relationship.  That being said, I guess I can see the appeal of getting caught up in the moment and letting the passion ooze out and run unbridled...

Shuggie: What makes someone sexy to you?

Lynn:  Eyes, smile and confidence.  Especially the self-confidence.  A good looking tush doesn't hurt either!

Shuggie: What is a major turn on for you during sex?

Lynn:  Light unexpected caresses.  And that look of desire.  Also, the feel of possibly being watched or discovered in the act.

Shuggie: What is a major turn off for you during sex?

Lynn:  Body odor.  Or (it has happened) a child crying due to a nightmare.

Shuggie: Sex-talk. Do you like or dislike talking during sex?

Lynn:  Some talk.  Oh, yeah, I like that.  Touch me there. Slower...  Harder! Oh, yessss!, like THAT Sweetie!  But no profanity or calling people derogatory names (yes, you know what I mean).  I Guess profanity and denigration are more of a turn off...

Shuggie: In bed or on the kitchen table?

Lynn:  Both have their benefits.  And anywhere else that is comfortable would qualify as well...  You know... the stairway, the laundry room on the washer [spin cycle of course!], spread wide on the dining room table, the walk-in closet, the bathroom counter, the backyard deck, the swimming pool, the sauna, the office while messaging a contact... etc.

Shuggie: What is your favourite or most memorable moment in bed?

Lynn:  A foursome.  Wow.  I think I wrote it.  Heaven is sharing your hubby with a gf you are in love with, and her doing the same... and you get to see them doing it as her guy does it to you... wow.

Shuggie: Is there anybody on this site, who you would like to see interviewed? Why?

Lynn:  Most authors are intriguing.  I like reading their interviews, because it sometimes gives me a better understanding of, or insight into where they are coming from in their stories.

Shuggie: Do you notice any differences between the "younger" writers on here, and between the "older writers" of this site?

Lynn:  I love to read new authors, with new ways of relating a story, describing it...  Looking at similar situations through a lens of different paradigms and experiences.  But don't get me wrong.  More established authors have their familiar patterns that keep drawing me back as well...

-------------------------------------
I just realized you may have actually meant age-wise.  If that is the case, then I can generalize that the "younger" authors appear to be more about different experiences and the act itself.  The "older" authors generally take their time to fill in details that give the reader a sense of knowing the character.  It is more like I have been introduced more fully and have become friends with the characters.  Each has their appeal.

Shuggie: Do you have any advice or tips on writing that you wish to share with any budding authors?

Lynn:  Check your story before posting.  Both grammatical, as well as spelling.  There is a big difference if you are fucking him for the principal or the principle of the matter.  Lol.  And re-read it again.  Does it flow well?  Does the reader understand what is going on?  Do the names get in the way of understanding what is going on?  If so, then change the names from Jan, Jen and JIll to Monica, Susan and Erica - names people may already have a mental picture as to what they look like.

Simple things like dropping the "r" off of her, or using the wrong too or to or two, calling someone a heroin as opposed to a heroine.  Or misspelling champagne.  Little things like that can make a difference and make me lose the flow.  Same goes for 1700 word stories that are one paragraph long.  It gets boring and hard to read, regardless of how much content is in the story itself. And typically I won't consider a story that is just describing a fuck.  There has to be more to it than that.  Give me something to fantasize about, help me with the visuals, what the characters' motivations are, and why are we here in this story in the first place?  If you don't have that I will take my passport and go to some other country...

Shuggie: You are #28 on the “Top 100 favourite authors” list. How does it feel to know that 197 people have marked you as one of their favourite authors.

Lynn:  All I can say is WOW....  It means a great deal that folks like my stories, and that they feel I am consistently providing them with stories they like.  And puts some pressure on me to make sure I do not disappoint them. It also turns me on to think that my stories have had an erotic effect on them...

I never would have thought when I posted my first story back in 2002 that I would be that popular. I also know that if I want to hit the next century mark {300, or 400...} I need to keep writing and submitting stories.  I hope to do this, although I am finding my kids are at that age that my time is being demanded much more by them and their activities; and my parents' health is demanding time as well, so although I may not submit as many as regularly as I have, I will continue to do so...

Shuggie: Is there anything else you would like to say to the readers of this interview and your fans? Now is your chance...

Lynn:  As most of the authors that have been interviewed here, have pointed out, I feel that you readers and fans are the KEY to this site.  Your feedback, your little notes about missing me and is everything okay, just checking up with you to see when your next story is coming because I can't wait...  Even some of you authors that actually feel comfortable asking me for my feedback/editing on a story or two, especially when you've hit a rough spot and can't find your muse to get you through.

I also appreciated the thoughtful inquiries and sympathies expressed over the last year by some of you.  My dad passed unexpectedly 2 years ago, and 10 months later my father-in-law passed as well.  That, on top of a miscarriage and my mom's going through chemo has had me a bit distracted.

It will be interesting to see how well received my next story (Part 2 of The Wish) is received, as parts have been written as much as 2 years apart from each other - was I able to keep it together, coherent?

Regardless, thanks again for all the support you have shown me, and all the feedback you give me on my stories. Would also like to know if this interview helped bring a bit more of me to life for you, if it actually helped you get to know me better... (I know, I'm rambling, aren't I?  Time to wrap it up I guess...)

Each and every one of you is like a big family (and yes, families can be varied and dysfunctional too!) and I am so proud to be included in that family!  Keep your support and encouragement coming.  Big hug and kiss to all of you!
