The Reunion

The drive back to the city was always boring, countless motorway miles and mad drivers. I was on my way to my old place of work after two years away to share in the farewell party for some old buddies of mine. The old firm was being run down and this was the final party for the office where I had spent so much of my time.

The party started mid afternoon with a bar -be-que being held behind the old admin block, the usual assortment of guests were there jockeying for position trying to impress the MD.
