Natalie returned home from work in a disgusting mood.

"Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr".

Slam went the door behind her as she headed straight for the sofa so she could lie down and at least attempt to unwind. She kicked off her trainers, pulled off her jeans as quickly as she could, and slumped onto it before stretching out and breathing a heavy and long-overdue sigh.

Shaking her head, she closed her eyes and tried to forget how bad her day had gone. First her alarm clock didn't go off this morning, which meant she was already running half an hour late when she discovered her car had a flat battery (she had forgotten to switch off the lights the night before). By the time the man from the AA had been to jump-start her ageing vehicle, she was well over an hour late.

Arriving at school wasn't good either; because she was so late, all the parking spots had been taken by the other staff. As a last resort, Natalie had been forced to park outside the school on the pavement. Now normally, there is never a traffic warden in sight on this little road. But this was not a normal day! By lunchtime, when she came out to move her car into the school's car park, Natalie found the £30 parking ticket that had been left for her.
