Tim pushed a lock of blond hair from his face, unbuttoned his coat, and entered the supermarket. It was 9 pm on a wintry Wednesday night and all he wanted to do was get some food, eat, and go to bed. He hoped there would be no lines in the store. All he needed to get were a couple of things and he would be on his way to the apartment in no time. Grabbing a basket, he headed over to the canned goods aisle.

Tim was 25 years old. He had gleaming blue eyes, an athletic build, and was considered universally attractive. Despite his good looks, Tim was currently single. He met women often and dated occasionally but always felt that something was missing. More often that note, every woman he dated was appealing in some way, but they did not have the complete package that he desired. On the weekdays, Tim devoted himself to work and spent his weekends unwinding from the stress accumulated during the week. Besides, to have a girlfriend at this point in his life would sap too much of his time and energy. If he was going to be in a relationship, he wanted it to be a healthy, mutually beneficial one. He could not promise that to anyone right now.

In the canned goods section, Tim began to look at the variety of spaghetti sauces. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a woman with shoulder-length blonde hair pass by his aisle in the supermarket.
