Beauty, But No Brains

Not many people would choose to do what I do. I mean after all heading up the drug testing for a major corporation is not the most exciting thing in the world. I always thought that the worst aspect of my job was that I routinely had to conduct unannounced urinalysis on the employees. I've never liked that part of my job, but company policy dictates it has to be done. The best aspect of my job is that I have complete control over where I go and when I go. With all of our locations, I travel around a lot and am in and out and then on to another location.

A few months ago I was given an assistant. Her primary job was, as my secretary was to help me keep the paperwork updated. Her name is Crystal and for the last 5 years she stayed at home as a housewife. She never really got into the job market because her husband wanted her to stay at home and take care of his needs. I found out later that she had only been married for 5 years and yet she was still only 25 years old. It seems her husband, who was 45, had scooped her up from a waitress job she had taken rate out of high school.
