Scott and I raced through the woods back towards the cabin. Dusk was falling and we had just been through a long invigorating day of whitewater rafting. It was growing steadily colder as nightfall approached and we were both soaked to the skin.

On reaching the cabin, Scott gathered up an armful of wood and we burst through the door, laughing and giggling, still high from the rush of the day.
