It was the end of a long week. Budgets were completed the previous day and the Friday staff meeting had been canceled. He was toying with the idea of leaving early and catching a matinee to wind down. Decision made, he cleaned off his desk, grabbed his jacket and started to leave his office. Just as he was shutting his door, the phone rang. Great, he thought, if I don't answer it'll be the boss calling and I will catch hell later. He grabbed the phone, "Hello?"

"You have a visitor, sir," said the voice of his secretary.

"Who is it?"

"I'm not sure. You sound grumpy; do you want me to tell them you are in a meeting?"

"No," he sighed, "Send them in. Call me back in five minutes with an emergency so I can get out of here though."

"Yes, sir. You are terrible," she laughed, "by the way; your visitor is a woman. She doesn't want me to give you her name; she says she wants it to be a surprise."

"Great," he said with sarcasm.
