Devyn bumped Cira with her hip and motioned across the room with her hand. Cira looked through the haze of smoke from all the cigarettes and the fog machine at the bar. There were lots of people standing there, waiting for service, but Cira noticed him immediately. He was about six feet tall, lean and muscled. Cira smiled at Devyn and nodded. As one, they walked across the dance floor, avoiding the gyrating bodies around them. Devyn walked right up to the black haired guy and tapped him on the side, since she couldn't reach his shoulder easily. At six feet, he practically towered over her smaller five foot one frame. He turned, and made eye contact with Cira first, who was taller than Devyn at five foot eight. Cira stepped closer, and casually put her arm around Devyn's shoulder.

"Hey there, gorgeous. How's it going?" she said.

"Pretty good. How are you?" he said in return, a look of slight confusion on his face. Devyn sighed and stepped right up to him, pressing her body close to his, her hands resting on his waist.

"I'm Devyn, this is Cira. Wanna dance?" Cira rolled her eyes and laughed. Devyn never had time for social niceties.

"Sure. I'm Mason." He held out his hand.
