The night was warm and sultry as Nick walked up to Alexia's apartmentdoor. Her building was quiet, very quiet for a Friday night, when most of her neighbors threw loud and obnoxious parties. Alexia didn't fit in with her neighbors; she was quiet and kept to herself. Though in her solitude, she was beautiful and strong, which is why Nick loved her so. His Friday night visits were routine, but Nick didn't care. Just to spend time was Alexia was enough for him. Sometimes the night ended with sex, but not always. It was usually dinner and a movie.

But tonight there was something sweet in the air; something that he could smell when he inhaled and lingered on his tongue as he exhaled. He rang the door bell and ran his hand through his hair, looking down at the scuffed toes of his boots. The door slowly creaked open and as he looked, he saw Alexia's feet. Instead of the usual house slippers or tennis shoes, this time he saw a pair of black patent heels. His eyes ran up her smooth legs, veiled by black thigh-highs. Once he reached her knees, he noticed a satin black robe. He looked up and smiled at her, running his hand down the back of his neck and down his side. She smiled sweetly and cocked her head, revealing more of her pale skin and clavicle. Her robe seemed to drape gently around the curves of her body, low on her chest, which seemed a bit more pronounced than usual. In her right hand she held a bottle of liquor.
