Summer Fun

About three years ago, I needed to find my first job. I had just gotten my license, so I wanted to start earning some money to put towards a car and insurance. Taking the advice of a friend in school, I went to the big state park/resort in the area. I took a job in the kitchen, as it was all that was available. After a pretty boring summer in the kitchen, I transferred to a different department with a little less pay but with much more fun work. Also, my best friend worked in the department so it would definitely be a good summer. Soon, that summer was over and I was off to college. While in college, I took a few classes about management and psychology and upon returning to the resort I had been promoted to supervisor of the department. This takes us to where the story takes place, one year ago in the summer.

Since my college is on quarters, I still had about three weeks left of school when I came home for my first weekend of work. I took that weekend to meet with my new staff and with my supervisor to discuss a budget and some other things. While meeting my staff, I noticed that the staff was mostly girls again, but they were as a whole much less attractive than last year’s staff.
