"Traveling again", Janie thought to herself. "Sometimes I think I was put on this earth to attend meetings and more meetings to talk about future meetings. Welcome to corporate America. I guess it's a small price to pay when you're ambitious."

Janie had to go to one of the Regional offices to participate in a presentation organized by one of her colleagues. Knowing that she would be wrapped up with the presentation for the remainder of the day, she wanted to log in and check her email before the carnage began.

Janie's professional and private lives were very different. During the day, she was the epitome of professionalism. She was progressive with her ideas, but still worked within the confines of the corporate structure. And although she was working under the restrictions placed upon her by the red tape corporations loved so much, she always seemed to get approval from her managers. Janie was very beautiful and she used it when she knew it would be to her advantage. However, she knew very well that if she didn't have the determination and knowledge once she got in the door, they would boot her right back out. She had a talent for talking a good story, getting her ideas approved, then scrambling to come up with the goods. For some reason, time never seemed to run out on her.
