I felt a bit of a dick standing there with my hand made sign waiting in the arrivals hall of the airport. Chris (a friend from England and my first story) had E-mailed me and asked if I would meet a friend of his. So I stood there only knowing his name was Dave and Chris's assurance that I'd enjoy his visit.

What would he be like? What would look like? The questions gnawed away at me, but I trusted Chris, so I waited.

He then appeared through the crowd. At about 5'6" he had short red hair and the body of a swimmer with broad shoulders, slim waist and strong arms. He was carrying Chris's pack, a couple of pieces of hand luggage and his bag of duty free. He reached out his hand and we shook, introducing ourselves. We went out to the car, loaded up and left for my place. He looked a little shagged out after 48 hours on a plane, so I took him straight home. I still hadn't worked out whether he intended to sleep with me, so when we got to my place I took him inside and as if it was a passing comment I pointed out my bedroom and he immediately dropped his pack in there.
