Turning the Tables - Beginnings

Derek was more than a little nervous as he shifted in his seat for the hundredth time that evening. He'd never done anything like this before and even now as he sat in the quiet restaurant he wondered once again if he'd be able to go through with it. Oh, he'd imagined it, he'd even written stories about it, but to actually go through with it? Suppressing a shudder of excitement he groaned softly as his all too eager imagination took control.
