It all started innocently enough. Doesn't it always though? I remember waking up that morning to the warm sun streaming through my bedroom window. I decided it was just too nice to stay in the house, so after a quick shower, I threw on a pair of shorts and a sleeveless shirt with a pair of sandals and headed to the park. I hadn't been to this park lately and they'd made a few changes. A water wheel had been added to the pond and a fountain now sat near the gazebo. The sudden hand on my shoulder nearly made me jump out of my skin. I pivoted quickly out of pure involuntary reaction and, after the short amount of time it took to regain my bearings, I was actually rather surprised to see her.
