Reprimand

Rolling over and cursing loudly at the insistent ringing of the phone, I fumble for the receiver and after a small tussle, finally manage to grab it. Hearing the beeping sound of a disconnection, I swear loudly and slam the receiver back into the cradle. Glancing over at the clock, I groan loudly and roll out of bed. God I overslept and I'm going to be late for work, again.

NOW!!" I cringed slightly at the emphasis, and swallowed nervously, watching him make his way to his private office. Rising to my feet, I followed him inside, jumping nervously as he closed the door forcefully. Moving around me to sit behind his desk, he gestured for me to sit.
