I slid into the cab not realizing you were entering from the other side. Being a gentleman, you start to yield and leave, but I take your arm. "It's ok. I have no real destination. I free-lance, so no particular schedule. Just heading back home. Where do you need to go?" I asked.

"Back to my hotel room, actually. I had my meeting, and my flight isn't until tomorrow morning. I don't suppose you'd care to keep me company for lunch?" you ask with a sweet smile on your face.

"How can I resist?" You give the driver the address for a local restaurant about 3 blocks from here. "Good," I think to myself, "a short ride." I look in silence at you. Big meeting this morning." "Oh yeah? How did it go?" I asked as we pull up in front of the eatery. You take my hand and cover it with yours, and say, "It went well, thanks." You flash a big warm smile toward me, pat my knee a couple times, then disembark. Quickly, you come around the cab and open the door for me. I smile. We enter the eatery, and take our place in line.
