It was her senior year of high school...finally. Katelin's spent her previous three years studying hard, being the overachiever that she is. College was definitely in her future, and with application time coming up, she knew that after all those apps were turned in she could finally relax.

During her entire high school career, Katelin had little time to have fun. She was always busy, either with sports or school work, or something that would look good on that application. She knew she worked way too hard; the finer things of high school life had passed her by, and this was her last year to live it up! You're only young once... Along with very few friends, Katelin had never dated anyone. Boys were beyond her. Being one of the most attractive girls at the school wasn't enough to get the boys to notice her. All the girls knew that the easier you were, the better. But Katelin wasn't like that.

In fact, Katelin wasn't like that at all. In her heart (and in other places), she felt a strong attraction toward girls. At her sleep overs, she would hear stories of "experimentation" and wish she was there to explore as well. Needless to say, she was very confused. Not ever having been with a male, she didn't know how to classify herself. Bi? Lesbian? Maybe that's why she took herself out of the social scene: to not get mixed up.
