Dan's Night Out

Dan walked through the downtown area smiling and singing a little song to himself as he strolled along. He felt pretty darn good today, his favorite baseball team had won, he had a free lunch and things just seemed to be going pretty well for him. What better way to cap it all of then with a few drinks at the local pub. He came across Murphy's, one of his favorite bars, and decided this would be his spot for the night as he entered the bustling scene. Taking a seat at the end of the bar, he settled down as he prepared to order his first drink.

"One Jack and Coke," Dan ordered as he smiled at the cute blonde bartender.

She smiled back and replied,"Coming right up."

Dan tapped his fingers on the bar and reflected on his week, it had been much better than he could have anticipated that's for sure. Things just seemed to roll along and he was at ease. The bartender brought Dan his drink and smiled again as she handed it to him. He noticed how sexy she was, her pretty blonde hair drawing his attention. She had gorgeous blue eyes and a flawless complexion, Dan's dream girl.

"Here you go, $5 please," she said with a bat of her eyes.
