My husband, Sam, has been working with the same company for about six years. For the past five years his best friend has been his boss. They have known each other since they were in high school.

So it was common for us to get together for barbeques, parties, vacations, and other occasions.

Last Spring, Sam's boss, Jeff, and his wife, Laura, bought a cabin by a lake. They invited us to join them on a fishing trip for our vacation that year. It sounded like a good idea to me. I needed a break from the stress of living in the city. Sam was of course all for it.

So when the time came to make the two hour drive we were both in good spirits. We listened to the radio for awhile, but the reception soon went bad. We chatted a little about work, but it just felt wrong to talk about our jobs while we were supposed to be on vacation.

Soon the conversation turned to Jeff and Laura. Sam told me that he and Jeff often talked about each other's sex life. This shocked me, because Sam is usually very shy about anything sexual.
