Forced Entry

It was their 10th year anniversary and she wasn't really sure what her husband had in store for her that night. Nicole came home from work that hectic day relatively certain that he had a nice evening planned for them. Every year he had surprised her with something. Ranging from a spa treatment to flowers to a weekend for her self. However upon entering the front door she found him watching T.V. in the living room, wearing sweats and a t-shirt with his high school's football team name across it in faded letters. Her first reaction was, ‘Oh sheesh, he didn't even remember our anniversary'. She placed her briefcase and purse down on the nightstand that stood near the door. She pulled off her high-heeled shoes as she walked over to him. He leaned back in the chair and she gave him a kiss on the forehead.

"Do we have any plans tonight?" Nicole is a type of woman who gets very easily upset when she doesn't get her way. Sometimes she knows the right buttons to push to get it. Other times, her husband won't stand for it.

"No, not really. It's Friday and neither of us work tomorrow. Let's just stay home and watch movies or something." Her eyes drooped, obviously disappointed. She let out a heavy sigh. "Sure, that's fine." He knew her sighs and knew she was upset.
