Jake's Place

Jake, now 32 had worked, long and hard, for the past 10 years. Commuting to his office in London, together with the stress of his job as a Money Broker, had taken its toll. Personal relationships had been fleeting. Usually not the dreams of his many admirers, and especially not the list of girls, that had been dated, wined and dined and bedded by him. Jake had neither the time nor the inclination, to settle down with anyone. He had had a plan to be comfortably well off financially, which would then afford him the luxury, of doing what he wanted to do, when he wanted to do it. He had succeeded.

He had made a successful offer, for the purchase of a small Hotel in St Ives in Cornwall. An elderly couple, whom had now taken to retirement, had previously owned it. The French builders had completed the renovations, to Jakes very exacting requirements. The refurbishment had been lavish, with no expense spared. Apart from his own, private two bed roomed suite, the Hotel had a further eight double rooms, each with their own luxury ensuite bathrooms. The choicest of these, was adjacent to his own suite, and would be reserved for selected guests. Unbeknown to the occupants, their every move could be monitored, by the sophisticated computerised sound and visual implants: a secret shared by only Jake and Julie. And in addition the discrete mirrored walls, would shelter no secrets, from their voyeuristic eyes.
