Wish upon a star

The cool breeze of the night that gently brushed my skin was a welcome change of the hot days that we had lately as I was waiting on the loading dock. The single light above the door illuminated just a small area and a swarm of bugs were trying to compete to get as close to the light as possible.

I look in the window of the building and see, as always, a lot of guys working up a sweat trying to put the newspaper of that day together. I look at my watch and I know I have to wait at least 30 more minutes before I can get my stack of papers that needs to be delivered and I let out a small sigh.
