NECK LACE.

Imagine some lazy Sunday evening when its storming rain outside. Our bedroom is erratically lit from lightening flashing outside the large side window. You pulled the curtains back earlier so we could see the lightening. The tied looping curtain waves part at the top of the window and flow in symmetrical arches to either side reminding me of the old-fashion petticoat you wore last night with no panties.

The loudest thunder sounds have come and gone. Nature has moved on, and is off barking in the distance, but the rain still fiercely sweeps the house. The sound of the rain ricocheting off the glass comes and goes with the force of the wind pushing the rain. Although it is too dark and the big oak tree is too far away from the house, we can still hear the force of the wind bending and assaulting the huge branches. Limbs will be naked in the morning. Leaves will splatter the yard like discarded panties.

We have all night to make love, and we will, until our strength gives out and we both slip off into a wonderful contented dreamscape. In the morning, one of us will awaken the other with a caressing hand. I hope it's me. I look at the clock radio to confirm the little red alarm light is on.
