I had started visiting colleges with my parents to decide which ones I'd like to apply to. The only reason my parents weren't with me on this particular visit was because they were away in Jamaica AND I was staying with my big brother, Donny. Donny was on the wrestling team and was into weightlifting so my parents knew he'd keep the boys away from me so it was ok for me to spend a week in his dorm.

I arrived on campus on a Sunday afternoon and Donny took me to his room. He had a double room to himself because he was a Residence Assistant (RA) so there was an extra bed for me. The only pain in the neck was the dorm was coed but the floors were unisex and consequently the bathrooms were as well. So, when I needed to use the bathroom or shower I was supposed to go up or down one floor to one of the 'girls' bathrooms. The interesting thing I discovered the first night as I emerged from the shower was that since many of the students had girls or boys sleeping with them and most people were too lazy to go up or down the stairs, it was fairly common to find a guy in the girls' bathroom or a girl in the boys' bathroom. So, by Wednesday I had given up walking the stairs and just used the bathroom and showers on Donny's floor. My towels and robe kept me from exposing myself, and most of the guys stayed mostly covered up when a girl was around. Donny had, of course, warned (threatened) the guys on the floor that they'd better keep their dirty hands and thoughts away from his baby sister.
