I was getting tired of fighting with my mom every night. Tonight was no different; we went from just talking to a full-fledged fight as always. This time I was so mad I threatened that I was going to move out and go live with my brother. I was shocked when she yelled back at me that if that is what I wanted to do then I should just get out!

I was stunned, I really did want to move out, but I never expected her to let me. I still had three months till I was out of high school and I was ready to have some freedom. Now all I had to do was convince my brother to let me stay with him.
