One evening, while on a business trip, I decided that I needed a beer. So, not knowing San Diego very well, I walked around aimlessly till I found a bar. After walking for a few blocks, I saw the tell-tale flashing neon sign. I was relieved.

I went into the bar, and found an empty seat. Not long after I sat down, the bartender came and asked me what I wanted. I told him a beer and he went to get it. I started looking around to get a feel of the place. All I saw were guys, and thought maybe it was a sports bar. I was hoping there would be at least a few sexy women to look at, but no such luck.

I kept drinking to keep my mind off of all the meetings of the day. My next meeting was not until one o'clock the next afternoon. I had plenty of time to kill, so I kept drinking.

Around midnight, I was feeling pretty drunk, so I decided to go back to my hotel. I got up from my seat and fell right on my ass. I tried again. This time, I didn't fall, but was stumbling and staggering badly. Before I got to the door, two guys stepped up to me and grabbed hold of me. They asked if I needed help to my car. I told them I walked from my hotel, and they offered to help me that far. I thanked them and we were on our way.
