Chris's Story:

It was November of my sophomore year of high school and I had missed class picture day. It was not a big deal in and of itself but was to have far reaching consequences, far beyond just a missed day of school.

The retakes were held a week later and I was scheduled to go down second period but I had to take a test second period so I ended up not getting to go down to the auditorium until last period.

As it turned out I was just in time as the photographer was starting to pack up his stuff when I got down to the stage area where the pictures were being taken.

"Excuse me," I said walking up to the photographer. "I'm here to get my picture taken."

"You're too late," he replied never stopping loading his stuff.

"What?"

"I said you're too late. I just took my last picture of the day and now I'm leaving."
