Finally, an interview for a real job. I had been working random temp jobs for one company or another after being laid off about 4 months ago. I had sent my resume to several possible employers but had gotten the typical blow offs. Always the same stupid responses, "Sorry we have already filled that position," or "We are looking for somebody with a little more experience." Oh well I thought to myself as I checked my tie in the mirror. The company I was interviewing at was business casual but it never hurts to dress better for the interview. I had my favorite charcoal suit, with a cobalt blue shirt and a simple tie on. I picked up my bottle of Drakar and gave myself a couple of squirts.

The place wasn't to hard to find and I actually arrived about ten minutes early. I relaxed in my car trying to calm down but my heart was beating a mile a minute. After about five minutes I finally relaxed a little and I got out of my car. I walked up to the reception desk, a rather attractive young lady looked up from her computer screen, "Yes, can I help you?"

"Yes," I replied, "I am here for an interview with Christine."

"Hold on a minute I will tell her you are here." She picked up the phone and after a few seconds, "Christine your morning interview is here. Ok." She hung up and the phone and with a rather cute smile she said, "Christine will be right down." ...
