Dinner had been a shared dish sort of affair and Karen, Jennie and Mike were in the kitchen putting the last of the dishes in the dishwasher. Larry was filling everyone's drinks and the rest of the dinner party was getting comfortable in the living room. Three of the four couples Karen and Larry, Jennie and Ken and Sarah and Mike had been friends since they graduated college about 15 years ago. The other couple, Mickey and Bob were new to the group of friend having moved in next to Karen and Larry about a year ago. The group got together at least once a month for a dinner party that usually involved playing some sort of game after dinner. Typically, games like How to Solve a Murder, Euchre or Monopoly were on the agenda, but Larry had suggested last month, after everyone was rather intoxicated, that they play something like strip poker next month, and with only a little coaxing, everyone got onboard with his suggestion. So tonight was the night.

Mike was pretty good with computers so during the month he decided to write a program that played strip blackjack instead of strip poker and he had suggested that they try his program (which of course he had brought along) instead of the playing poker which many of the group (including Mike) had confessed to not playing well. So during dinner they all agreed to try Mike's game and Mike had setup his laptop in the living room for them to play in a relaxed environment. Once everyone had settled down with a fresh drink in the living room, Mike opened the program and explained basically how it was designed to work.
