My colleague Rob came to my office one afternoon.

"Lacy, the boss just talked to me. He wants us to go to a conference in Boston in two weeks. I'm making the arrangements. I'll give you more info tomorrow."

Before I could say anything, he left the room. I had mixed emotions about it. On the one hand, I hated to go to conferences but on the other hand it was to Boston with Rob.
