The Birthday surprise

This all started on a quiet night just the regulars and a few couples. Nothing new for a Thursday at the bar. I've been the owner/bartender for about 4 years and I've built up a regular crowd due to good service and inexpensive prices.

Thursdays were usually pretty good as most people started the weekend early and this was no exception. I noticed my regulars who all had their favorite bar stools swapping lies and jokes.
