I wanted to surprise Al with an evening he would not soon forget. For the most part I tended to be very shy. I could never picture myself going into an adult boutique however I knew that I would have to for this. One afternoon I went to the boutique at the opposite end of town. I was feeling brave that day. The boutique was called "Joanne's Novelties and Gifts". I assumed that I would be OK as the shop was named after a woman. Well that was my first mistake. One should never assume as you end up making an ASS out of U and ME.

Joanne ended up being "John". He was an older man in his 60's with balding gray hair and a potbelly. This was not going to be as easy as I had hoped. The store contained so many different 'marital aids' that I didn't know where to start. Many of them I had no idea what they were or how to use them.

John saw me enter the store and was quick to offer his assistance. I let him know what I needed and by the look on his face, he was enjoying this a bit more then what I liked. I made a quick departure. I had one other 'boutique' to try. Al had gone there before to buy some bedroom toys for us and he had said that the 'back room' was quite nice. I recalled how he had said that it was a woman who had served him.
